Cogollo ya vapeado: formas de usar marihuana vapeada

Already Vaped Bud (ABV) is the crispy, brown weed left over after a vaping session. Many cannabis consumers throw their leftovers away without a second thought, believing it will have no further use.

Good cannabis is not cheap, though a DynaVap dry herb vaporizer can help you stretch your herb. Why let a good thing go to waste? So start saving that ABV because we have 10 creative ways to make the most of it.

1. AVB Edibles

Adding some ABV to your favorite edible recipe can be a game-changer. And unlike cannabis flower, it has been decarboxylated, so it's ready to go. Cooking or baking with vaped weed can help mask the bitter taste and put leftover cannabinoids to good use.

2. Water Cure Your ABV Weed

One of the biggest complaints about using vaped weed is the taste. The flavor can be less than desirable, but lucky for you, you can remove the grossness.

Water curing removes residual particles, chemicals, and all the elements responsible for giving the weed its flavor and aroma. Water-cured cannabis edibles can smell and taste like regular treats.

It is a simple process that involves about half an ounce of ABV.

  • Tie up your ABV with some cheesecloth
  • Place the packet in a container of water while letting it soak
  • Change out the dirty water every couple of hours
  • Repeat the process for up to four days, frequently changing out the water.
  • Drain the water and squeeze out the tea bag.
  • Place the remaining ABV on a baking sheet at 200 degrees for two hours.

Water-cured cannabis will not make your ABV taste like fresh flower, but it can certainly help improve your experience.

3. Caps

Cannabis capsules are a simple and straightforward way to consume herb. All you will need are some empty capsules and some ABV for this method. Simply swallow it with water as you would any other pill and wait for the effects to kick in. This is a discreet option, and you will not have to worry about the flavor. However, the effects are more delayed as the capsule breaks down and dissolves.

4. Smoke It

Technically, you can straight-up smoke your leftover vaped bud. It works best after one round of use with a dry herb vaporizer. Bud that has been repeatedly vaped will lack potency and leave a terrible taste. It will not have the same effects as fresh bud.

5. Infused Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a super versatile oil for a variety of recipes and edibles. This method could also benefit from water curing. To make infused coconut oil, you will need a slow cooker, a few hours, and some ABV.

The Process:

  • Add ABV and coconut oil to your slow cooker.
  • Let the mixture heat on low for several hours.
  • Occasionally, stir the mixture to keep the material from burning.
  • After several hours, let the mixture in your slow cooker cool.
  • Upon cooling, take the ABV and coconut oil mixture and strain it through some cheesecloth.
  • Store the rest of the residue-free oil in a cool, dark place until you are ready to use.

6. ABV Cannabutter

ABV cannabutter requires a higher amount of ABV, as ABV is significantly less potent than fresh cannabis. The process is quite simple, all told.

To make your own ABV cannabutter you will need

  • ABV
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of butter

Heat the water and butter in a pan together, adding your ABV herb. Let the mixture come together and simmer as the THC dissolves into the butter and oil. This process will take a couple of hours and will result in straining the remains through some cheesecloth before storing to cool in the refrigerator. The next day, you can take the cooled and hardened mixture to cook edibles or simply top your morning toast. ABV cannabutter is an incredibly flexible product to have on hand in your kitchen, so don't throw away excess ABV if you don't need to!

7. THC Tincture

THC tinctures are an incredible way for medical users to dose cannabis discreetly. Sublingual activation via oil extraction can lead to quicker results that deliver targeted relief in times of need. To make an ABV tincture, you will have to decide if the process is worth the time investment.

Remember to adjust this recipe as needed and to fit the amount of ABV you have.

  • Decarboxylate your cannabis flower. This was accomplished when you vaped your fresh flower via your dry herb vaporizer.
  • Mix the remaining ABV in your possession in a mason jar with some high-proof alcohol such as Everclear.
  • Seal the jar and let it sit for a couple of weeks, shaking the jar only once a day.
  • After several weeks, strain the liquid through a coffee filter.

A THC tincture can be used under the tongue or with a meal. Get creative with your THC tinctures to maximize the benefits your cannabis experience provides.

8. Sprinkle on Your Food

If you don't feel like taking the steps to craft cannabutter or a tincture, there are options that take less time. Herb that has been decarbed with a dry herb vaporizer can be sprinkled on your favorite food. We advocate that you at least water cure your ABV to minimize the bitter taste that might otherwise manifest.

If you don't want to water cure your ABV but want to ingest it quickly and with as little taste as possible, consider adding a scoop of ABV to some peanut butter on toast. Peanut butter does an exceptional job of masking the ABV taste while also providing a protein-rich carrier agent for the ABV to travel through your system.

Keep in mind that consuming ABV can be a sensory experience. Don't expect to love the taste at first, and if the taste is too difficult to overcome, then opt for water curing for best results.

9. Create ABV Concentrates

When we think of cannabis concentrates, we typically think of fat dabs and sky-high highs. With ABV, we can make concentrates that have far lower levels of cannabinoids and are much easier to consume. This is an advanced process that demands the use of a couple of different tools.

Accessories needed to make ABV Concentrates

  • Rosin press or hair straightener
  • Alcohol for extraction
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven mitt

Once these tools are collected, simply press the ABV in a rosin press or with alcohol to extract the key cannabinoids. If you do not have a rosin press, grab your hair straightener and preheat it to 300 degrees. Place your ABV into the parchment paper, folding it to better contain the herb. Now use the hair straightener to close over the paper, heating the ABV and causing a liquid to come out. This liquid can be separated from the cannabis for consumption. While ABV extracts will not taste as good as fresh cannabis that has been extracted, it will still work.

10. Brew a Cup of ABV Tea

After a solid session with your dry herb vaping device at a lower temperature, you will be left with some fantastic material to steep in a tea.

The vaped herb can be added directly to the milk and tea mixture before consuming. The vaped herb within the mixture should be heated in the microwave for up to an hour, or heated over the stovetop. Strain the remaining milk with a cheesecloth or a handy coffee filter before adding the remaining content to your favorite freshly brewed coffee or tea.
